My gyn said since the virus was in the nerves of the sacral area, I was not contagious unless I had an outbreak. Then she said later, even without an outbreak, I could still shed a small amount of virus vaginally. How can I give my negative partner maximum protection. Should I take valtrex? Is oral sex dangerous? How easy would it be for him to contract it from me?
I was married for 40 years. This is the first time I will have a new partner. I have probably had the virus close to 30 years.
I have had genital herpes for over 30 years. I have had 4 long term girlfriends and had unprotected sex with them. to my knowledge they remained clean. but then I hear that a large percentage of people don't even know that they have it. it goes undetected. so now I am thinking that maybe I passed it along and they don't have any symptoms or maybe they think it just a yeast infection. I am very confused right now.
I also have HPV which is under control. Both skin to skin infections. I would really love to talk to a professional who deals w these particular STDs. I have great medical professionals but their information goes so far. Lastly, the Acyclovir cream is so thick and hard to spread over active sores. Any suggestions? Thank you.
I would like to know if it’s possible to spread genital herpes to other parts of your body while your bathing. Is this possible? I’ve been using a different wash cloth every time I shower. I’m not sure what the risk of spreading it to my other limbs is.
